SEVER will warm up Asking Alexandria in all the Baltics

In less than 3 weeks, on June 27th, the rock quintet Asking Alexandria will perform at the Palladium concert hall as part of the support tour of their latest album “See What’s on the Inside”. It will be the first time that these guys will visit the Baltics. And now it has become known that the domestic band SEVER will warm up before all their three Baltic concerts.

SEVER was founded in 2016 and consists of five promising and talented musicians: Leonid Korenevsky (vocals), Pavel Trebukhin (guitar), Ilya Peshkov (bass), Stanislav Kobelev (guitar), Yevgeny Bratushchenkov (drums). The musical mood and style of the band is determined by music genres such as post-hardcore and alternative rock.

SEVER has performed several concerts in the Baltic countries, participated in rock and metal music festivals, and has also shared the stage with such foreign rock and metal bands as “Crazy Town”, “The Slot”, “Wildways”, etc.

To date, the group has released eleven music videos, which have received very positive feedback from listeners and fans. SEVER’s audience is constantly growing.

In May 2022, the musicians released their debut album “This Should Have Been A Better Place”, which consists of 10 tracks and touches on the search for the meaning of life, existential crisis and personal experiences. The album has now reached over 1 million streams on Spotify.

Most recently, SEVER participated in the finals of the “Wacken Metal Battle Latvia” competition and won the opportunity to represent Latvia at the international finals of the “Metal Battle 2023” competition in Germany, one of the largest metal music festivals “Wacken Open Air 2023”.

Composed today of their original line-up – Ben Bruce [guitar, backing vocals], Danny Worsnop [lead vocals], James Cassells [drums], Cameron Liddell [guitar], and Sam Bettley [bass] – the quintet has arrived at a place of clarity and refreshed sense of artistic purpose.

For the latest release “See What’s on the Inside” (2021) the band pulled inspiration from some of their earliest influences and musical heroes – Led Zeppelin, Metallica, AC/DC, Queen. Guitarist Ben Bruce has stated that they do not like writing music that sounds the same from album to album, which is why their musical style has changed over time.

In the band’s 10+ years as a worldwide touring and recording force, they have achieved unprecedented success earmarked by two gold-certified singles (namely,“Final Episode (Let’s Change The Channel)” and “Not The American Average”) and three consecutive top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top 200—Reckless & Relentless [2011], From Death to Destiny [2013], and The Black [2016].

In addition to headlining packed gigs on five continents, they’ve graced stages alongside Guns N’ Roses, Green Day, Avenged Sevenfold, Alice In Chains, and Slipknot, to name a few.

Asking Alexandria will perform at Riga’s Palladium hall on June 27th. Tickets still available at entire Biļešu serviss (www.bilesuserviss.lv) network.
