Riga-based music label Amber Muse will celebrate its twentieth anniversary on November 16

To celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Amber Muse, label producers Bogdan Taran and Max Lomov are organizing a ten-hour marathon of electronic music in the Laska V21 space. They have invited almost two dozen well-known and new artists of the Latvian scene to perform DJ sets.

The Amber Muse company, which started as a record label in 2004 under the leadership of Bogdan Taran, has expanded its activities over the past 20 years, but still does everything around music: it produces an eponymous radio show for Radio NABA, the online magazine Test Press, holds parties and, of course, publishes music. In early October, the label released Taran & Lomov’s debut album “Semper Supra” and plans to release a new EP of the duo in early 2025.

“Record labels each celebrate their birthdays in their own way. We decided to do what we do best: release our first album and throw a party in the anniversary year,” say Taran and Lomov. “We invited some of our old and beloved friends to the lineup, as well as hot young DJs whose vibe we really like. And it seems that the list of artists looks like a lineup of a small festival!”

The event will start at 20:00 on November 16 with vinyl sets by Dmi3, Waxid, Will Sonic and ZaZzy in the bar room of Laska V21 (21 Vagonu St.), and at midnight the main dance floor will open, where Max Lomov will play under the name East Cho, in a duo with Bogdan —as Queer On Acid. House, techno and breaks will be featured in the sets of Aizvakardiena, E91, Jazzy Marky & Nick Ustinov, Judzhen, Laiva Maikule, mOZ & Herren Ivo, Paul Hnikin x Michael Myth, Sirdsapes and Ze Ivarzz.

“For our celebration, we decided to give a gift to our listeners and visitors: free entrance to the party!” Bogdan and Max add. Registration for the limited guest list is open. To get on it, you need to send your full name, email address, and favorite music styles here: ambermuse.com/20th-anniversary.
