KISS Forever Band – Europe’s best KISS tribute band – will perform in Riga next April

Celebrating the 50-year career of the legendary group KISS, on April 20, the KISS Forever Band will perform at the “Melnā Piektdiena” club.

The set-list will include the classic KISS hits, like Rock and Roll All Nite, Crazy Nights, I Was Made For Lovin’ You, Detroit Rock City, Lick it up, Beth, Love Gun, Shout It Out Loud, War Machine, etc., as well as some more rarely played pieces from for different stages of career.

KISS Forever Band band won the official title of “No.1 European KISS tribute band” as the only KISS tribute band from Europe invited on the final in Las Vegas, US. More than 200 bands all around the world wanted to get the final but just 4 got the chance to flew to Las Vegas, so KISS Forever Band was there among to 2 American and 1 Australian KISS tribute band.

KISS Forever Band was formed in 1995 with the aim of getting together every now and then and playing the band members’ favorite KISS pieces. However, it so happened that one public appearance led to the next, and to the another one, until the number of concerts began to grow in arithmetical progression. If in 1997 there were 4-5-6 concerts a year, then gradually the number of performances reached 70-80, covering all of Europe from Hungary, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands to Italy, Spain, Portugal, Malta, Scandinavian countries and Great Britain. Some concerts have been given even in countries as far away as the USA, Canada, Korea and Japan.

Clubs, events and festivals of various capacities – thousands and thousands of spectators have already appreciated the professionalism of the KISS Forever Band and the amazing resemblance to the original KISS!

In September 2023, KISS Forever Band celebrated a significant anniversary – the 1,500th concert was given to amazed spectators! Who would have expected such a thing from a quartet of like-minded people who got together back in 1995 just to play the music created by their idol KISS?! In addition, their performance was praised by KISS themselves, meeting in 1997, watching the performance and later having lunch together.

Interestingly, KISS Forever Band also recorded 3 albums and 1 concert DVD. While it’s unusual step for a cover band to release a record, many people, both domestically and abroad, expressed an interest in being able to take something home with them.

Now we too will have the opportunity to appreciate the KISS Forever Band and sing along to the legendary KISS hits.
